Over the course of his distinguished career, he has performed more than 10,000 vein procedures and has earned a reputation for excellence in both surgical precision and patient outcomes. His experience spans all major thermal and non-thermal venous treatment modalities, placing him among the most experienced vein specialists in the region.

Dr. Levy’s career includes several prestigious leadership and academic roles. He previously served as chief of cardiac and thoracic surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, and held academic appointments as an assistant professor of clinical surgery at New York University. He also served as an associate in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, New York, reflecting his long-standing commitment to advancing surgical care and education.

Dr. Joseph Centa is a board-certified general surgeon with more than 20 years of experience delivering high-quality, patient-centered surgical care. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut, a Yale-affiliated institution. Throughout his career, Dr. Centa has been recognized for his clinical skill, thoughtful approach, and dedication to excellent outcomes.

What truly distinguishes Dr. Centa is his commitment to building strong relationships with his patients. He believes in taking the time to listen, explain treatment options clearly, and guide patients through their care with compassion and respect. His calm, approachable manner helps patients feel confident and supported at every stage of treatment.

Dr. Centa currently cares for patients at Ohio Vein & Vascular locations in Norwalk, Polaris, Reynoldsburg, Ontario, and Medina. Alongside a highly trained and attentive team, he is proud to provide exceptional care in a welcoming environment where every patient is treated like family.
