Pedal access zero contrast revascularization eliminates that risk entirely. This advanced technique accesses the arterial system through a tiny puncture in the foot — the pedal artery — rather than the groin, and uses intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and carbon dioxide (CO2) angiography instead of traditional contrast dye to visualize and treat the blockages.
